Jackie L. Thomas

Jackie L. (Jack) Thomas, 76, of Lehigh Acres, died on Friday June 17, 2011.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Betty Thomas and sons, Steve and Joseph Thomas of California and Michael and Jeffrey Thomas of Michigan. Also surviving are stepsons, Stephan and Chuck Hadley of Michigan.

He also was a grandfather to eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clay and Reva Thomas and three sisters, Betty, Virginia and Imogene. He was a life member of the Elks, AmVets, DAV in Michigan and American Legion Post 323, Lehigh Acres.

He was the retired owner of Plaza Body Shop and Ziebert Rustproofing in Benton Harbor and Niles, Mich. A Celebration of Thomas’ life will be held at American Legion Post 323, Lehigh Acres at 5 p.m. Wednesday June 22, 2011.
