Evelyn Buffum was elected recently to lead the Lehigh Acres American Legion Auxiliary 323 for a second term. The officers elected with here are;

First Vice President, Maxine Spamer; Second Vice President, Joannne Arnett; Secretary, Tina Hanson; Treasurer, Lois McFall; Chaplain, Dorothy Hanson; Historian, Maureen Sebris; Sergeant-at-Arms, Dawn Jameson; and on the Executive Committee, Linda Detillion, Marilyn Murr-Sherlock and Berverly Talbot.

The Auxiliary will be installed on July 9 at 2 p.m. with the Post, Squadron and Riders, Post officials said.

Auxiliary members are invited to attend all general membership meetings held on the first Monday of each month unless otherwise announced.

The 2012 dues will become available in July and are $25 for senior members, and $5 for junior members.

The Auxiliary invites the public to come to meetings and learn what is happening and what the activities being planned are. Post officials are looking for new members who want to be involved in helping the Auxiliary to help veterans, children and the community.
