G. Harvey Gollwitzer, 81, of Alva, and formerly of Pittsburgh, Pa., died Friday, June 24, 2011. He is survived by his wife Sandra Gollwitzer of Alva; three children: Hans Gollwitzer of Shawnee, Kan., Gary Gollwitzer of Alva and Tanya Gollwitzer of Fort Myers; four grandchildren: Benjamin and Bradley Gollwitzer of Kansas, Matthew Gollwitzer of Lehigh Acres and Megan Cochran of Cape Coral; and his great granddaughter, Melissa Davis.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 1, 2011 at Oak Park Community Center in Alva.
