Tom Stuifbergen and Dakota Watts combined to shut out the Charlotte Stone Crabs 4-0 Monday night at Hammond Stadium and snap a six-game losing streak for the Fort Myers Miracle.

The Miracle staked Stuifbergen to a 1-0 lead in the first inning. Anderson Hidalgo singled to center and Aaron Hicks followed with a double to left-center. Hidalgo scored on Nick Romero’s groundout to short.

The Miracle added three runs in the sixth on five hits.

Stuifbergen (3-4) scattered six hits over seven innings with a pair of strikeouts. Watts earned his ninth save.

The Miracle (35-40) face the Stone Crabs (32-42) Tuesday with Minnesota Twins outfielder Jason Kubel joining them on a rehab assignment.
