Wednesday night’s Fort Myers Miracle game with the St. Lucie Mets was postponed by rain at Hammond Stadium. The game has been rescheduled as a doubleheader Thursday, playing two seven-inning games starting at 5:05 p.m.

On a rehab stint, Kevin Slowey was slated to pitch Wednesday and now will pitch Thursday’s first game.

The Miracle are among 72 Minor League clubs that will participate in the “Stars & Stripes” cap program this Independence Day weekend.

The caps were produced by the New Era Cap Co. and feature a white and red top, red bill and the Miracle primary logo filled with American flag inspired stars and stripes. The caps will be available for purchase in the Miracle Team Store.

The Miracle will wear the special hats for games on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, which also features two of the biggest Fireworks Shows on Friday and Sunday after each game.

Saturday is Miracle Youth Jersey T-shirt Giveaway to the first 500 kids, 12 & under, when the Miracle host the Charlotte Stone Crabs at 6:05 p.m.
