KFC restaurant in Fort Myers robbed by gunmen

Two men dressed in black, wearing ski masks, and armed with guns stormed into the KFC restaurant at 12290 S. Cleveland Ave. in Fort Myers Thursday and demanded money and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash in a vehicle, according to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators said they were called to the restaurant at around 10:10 p.m. They said there were eye witnesses in the restaurant who were able to give the description of the two men.

None of the customers inside the restaurant were injured during the robberry.
