An Update: The second suspect in this case has been arrested. Dusty Ray Heishman, 46, was located at 122 Alabama Road South in Lehigh Acres shortly after 8 p.m. on July 7, 2011. Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help tracking down a Lee County couple accused of breaking into a home, stealing hundreds of dollars’ worth of electronics, then caught on
video trying to sell the stolen items at a local pawn shop.
Lee County detectives say Dusty Ray Heishman, 26, and an unknown female companion were seen by neighbors exiting a home on Fifth Avenue in Pine Manor in Lee County on
June 25, carrying items including guitars, an amp, a DVD player, iPod and luggage.
Shortly thereafter, the couple went to an area pawn shop and swapped out the stolen goods for cash, officials said. Surveillance cameras at the pawn shop clearly show Heishman handing over the amp, with his female companion at his side throughout the fraudulent transaction.
