Casey’s Craft Emporium ribbon cutting: The Lehigh Acres Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the recent opening of Casey’s Craft Emporium at 25 Homestead Rd. Co-owners Kitty Bryce and Christine Taintor, jointly holding a king-size pair of scissors, are shown in the center with Oscar Gamble, Lehigh’s honorary mayor, holding a copy of a proclamation declaring the day in honor of the business, and Joe Whalen, president and CEO of the Chamber. A large group of people turned out for the ceremony and some are shown in the background while others crowded the showroom. “Make it with your hands … Make it with your heart” is the Craft Emporium’s motto.
