The Daytona Cubs erased an early deficit to beat the Fort Myers Miracle 7-4 Saturday at Hammond Stadium.

Daytona plated four runs on four extra-base hits off Miracle starter Jhon Garcia and reliever Clint Dempster in the seventh inning. Garcia had allowed just two runs, only one earned, through six, but was touched up for three in the top of the seventh.

Logan Watkins had a RBI triple, Evan Crawford notched a run scoring double, and Justin Bour hit a two-run homer to cap off the inning. Bour now has 18 home runs for the year.

Steve Liddle blasted his first home run in the Florida State League in the third inning to stake Fort Myers to a 1-0 lead. Sending a 1-1 pitch from Daytona starter Casey Harman over the right field wall, Liddle picked up the second homer in the series for the Miracle.

Fort Myers took a 3-1 lead in the fourth with a sacrifice fly by Josmil Pinto and a run-scoring single by Liddle, who finished the game 2-for-5 with two runs driven in. Nick Romero added a RBI double in the eighth inning. Romero finished 2-for-4 with a run scored and stolen base.

Garcia (3-3) is tagged with the loss and Aaron Kurcz (4-3) pitched a pair of scoreless innings to get the loss. Fort Myers and Daytona each won four games of a season series of eight with splits at Jackie Robinson Field and Hammond Stadium this season.

The Miracle (45-47, 11-11) hit the road for eight games starting Monday, beginning in Dunedin against the Blue Jays (49-42, 11-11) with first pitch set for 5 p.m.
