A masked white man with a gun has robbed the SunTrust Bank at 11721 Bonita Beach Rd., in Bonita Saturday, July 16, shortly before 11:30 a.m.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office said the masked man approached a teller and demanded cash.

The victim complied and the suspect fled the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, investigators said.

He was also described as a weighing around 160 pounds and between five feet and 10 inches tall, thick build with light blue eyes.

Two surveillance photos accompany this article. Nobody was injured during the robbery, investigators said.
