Ex-Blades star plays in NARch
Former Florida Everblades star Ernie Hartlieb will play in the North American Roller Hockey Champion-ships at 8:20 p.m. next Thursday at Germain Arena. The game is part of the tournament that runs through July 31.
“Roller hockey is a great game to play,” said Hartlieb. “It’s wide open four-on-four play with no checking so it allows players to really show their skill. I have been playing roller hockey for the past 10 years so I am looking forward to playing in my home away from home, Germain Arena.”
It’s also the the debut of a new videoboard at Germain Arena. A three-camera crew will feed the entire game to the center-hung board, complete with instant replays. The event is free and open to the public.
