Gasoline prices continue to rise

Average retail gasoline prices in Lee County, including Lehigh Acres, have risen 1.6 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.68/g Sunday.

This compares with the national average that has increased 1.1 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.70/g, according to gasoline price website CapeCoralGasPrices.com.

Sunday were $1.05/g higher than the same day one year ago and are 16.9 cents per gallon higher than a month ago. The national average has increased 13.2 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 95.5 cents per gallon higher than this day one year ago.
