The Lee County Metropolitan Planning Organization MPO Board will hold a public hearing on August 19, 2011 to consider Amending the FY 2011/2012 through FY 2015/2016 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) to Add Project Number 417244-3 SR 82 (Immokalee Road) from Sunshine to Columbus, Signing and Marking project in FY 11/12 and to add the 2012 Roll Forward Projects.

The MPO will also be considering Approval of the Scope for the Rail Feasibility Study. LeeTran will also be giving the MPO a presentation on their Transit Development Plan (TDP) Update.

The MPO Board meeting will be held on August 19, 2011 at 9 a.m. in the Southwest Florida Regional Planning Council’s office at 1926 Victoria Avenue in Fort Myers.

Written comments received by the end of the business day on Thursday, August 18, 2011 will be distributed to the MPO members at the hearing and made part of the public record.
