Micky Deane

Michael “Micky” Alan Deane, born March 31, 1957 died in Fort Myers on August 16, 2011 after a year-long battle with many complications due to an accident. He passed away peacefully surrounded by close family and friends.

He was born and raised in Torrington, Conn., and lived in Lehigh Acres for 30 years. He was a general contractor and loved building houses.

He was born to the late Robert A. Deane and is survived by his mother, Barbara Deane, and two children, Michael Deane Jr. and Jaymie Deane Waltz; grandson of Arianna Browning, Morgan Waltz, Taylor Waltz, Tre Waltz and Michael Alan Deane III.

He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Cyndi Mastrocola, Robert Deane, Margaret Cifaldi, Nanci Freeborg, James Deane, William Deane, Thomas Deane, Melissa Saffon, Kelly Szabo and Debi Baker. He is also survived by Aimee Rotaru; son-in-law, Robert Waltz Jr., and several brothers and sisters-in-law, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, and countless friends.

His family said that he touched the lives of everyone around him and maintained his trademark sense of humor all the way to the end.

Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing on Thursday, August 18, 2011 from 6-9 p.m. at Anderson-Patterson Cremation & Funeral Services, 2701 Lee Blvd., Lehigh Acres.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, August 19, 2011 at St. Raphael’s Catholic Church, 2514 Lee Blvd., Lehigh Acres. Interment will follow at Lee Memorial Park Cemetery, 12777 State Highway 82, Fort Myers.
