NEW OFFICERS: The Lehigh Acres Rotary Club celebrated another successful year and introduced a new group of leaders recently at Majestic Golf Club. President Edd Weiner 2010-2011 was succeeded by Michaels Swords. Jere Carrick will serve as president-elect, Michael Neven as treasurer and Charlie DeFelice as secretary. The event was held at Majestic Golf Club and included a presentation by Weiner and a slide show on some of Rotary’s accomplishments for the year. Introducing the new leaders and commenting on the local club’s success was District Governors Don Thomas and Denise Hearn. The Rotary theme for the new year is “Reach Within to Embrace Humanity.”
