Huldah D. Jessamy

Huldah D. Jessamy , 88, died on August 20, 2011 at Hope Hospice, Lehigh Acres. She is survived by her son, Daniel Jessamy; and brothers, Neville (Noel), Horace (Emsee), Anthony (Yvette), Trevor (Judy) and Michael (Jacqueline) King; sisters, Ermine Lowe (Eric) and Shirley Gibbs (John).

Jessamy has been a resident of Lehigh Acres for the past 20 years. She was a nursing instructor at Brooklyn Jewish Medical Center’s Nursing School Brooklyn, N.Y., prior to her retirement. She was a member of St. Anselm Episcopal Church Lehigh Acres and of the Altar Guild.

A celebration of Jessamy’s life will be held on Saturday, August 27, 10 a.m. at St. Anselm Episcopal Church, Joel Blvd. and 6th St. Lehigh Acres. Interment will follow in Lee Memorial Park.

The family would like to thank Dr. Bernd Raphael and staff of Gulf Coast Hospital, Dr. Lowell Hart and staff of Florida Cancer Specialist, Dr. Allen Brown and staff of 21st. Century Oncology and staff of Hope Hospice, Lehigh Acres for their excellent care during treatment for pancreatic cancer.
