Lois E. Reider

Lois Estelle Reider, 84, of Fort Myers , died August 18, 2011. She was born in Everglades City, Fla., to Leonard and Sallie Simmons. As a military wife she traveled throughout the United States and the Orient with her husband and children.

After retiring to her hometown of Fort Myers, in 1974, she was an avid gardener, reader and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be sadly missed by her loving family and little whiskered friends.

Lois is survived by her husband of 67 years, John; four sons, Terry (Tina) Reider, Gary (Mary) Reider, Barry (Deanna) Reider and Harry (Dawn) Reider; two daughters, Karen (Barry) Olson and Marian (James) Edmonson; sister, Louise Altman; 19 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and another on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Sharon Lee Reider.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, August 27, 2011 at the LDS Church, 315 Richmond Ave. N., Lehigh Acres.
