On September 13, Lee County Commissioners will decide on new boundaries for the five commission districts of Lee County. County Planning gave them a choice of five plans. To date, they have narrowed the choice down to three: alternates 1, 4 and 5. Each alternate makes different changes, which can be seen at www.lee-county.com under Featured Content.

The meeting will be at the Commission chambers, at the Lee County Courthouse, 2120 Main Street, Fort Myers. The meeting will be televised live on Comcast channel 97. The new boundaries will be in force for the next 10 years until the 2020 census.
