A man whose body was found near the Lee-Charlotte County line has been identified as a Lehigh Acres man and appears to be the victim of a homicide, according to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators identified the victim as Bryan Sorendino, 30.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, detectives with both the Charlotte and Lee County Sheriff’s Office believe Sorendino was the victim of a homicide and that his death likely occurred in Lee County.
Sorendino’s body was found in a wooded area off of SR31, about a mile north of the Lee County line earlier this week.

Funeral services will be held for Bryan Sorendino, 31, of Lehigh Acres, on Wednesday September 21, 2011 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Anderson Funeral Home, Lee Boulevard, Lehigh Acres.
He is survived by his parents, Ro and Pat McDonald; his brother, Sean McDonald of Lehigh Acres and his two daughters Sierra, 6 and Isabella, 5.
