Mobile home lost in Friday night fire

The Estero Fire Rescue, along with San Carlos Fire Department, responded to a call Friday night at 7:36 for a structure fire at 21560 TPI R. Upon arrival units were notified that the fire was not secured.
Lee County Sheriff’s Office was on scene to assure scene safety. Once firefighters arrived at the location the structure, which was a mobile home, was fully involved, according to Susan Lindenmuth, public relations manager for the Estero Fire Rescue. Crews extinguished the fire, however the structure was a total loss, she said.
There was a minor injury reported for the resident of the structure. He was treated on the scene by Lee County EMS.
