Angelina Diaz

Angelina Diaz, 83, of Lehigh Acres, died on Sept. 29, 2011. She was a resident of Florida for 11 years, Garnerville, and N.Y., for 55 years. She was born Sept. 7, 1928 in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico.

Diaz was a member of the Lehigh Acres Senior Center and a volunteer at Buckingham Exceptional School. She liked gardening, exercise, traveling and loved to spend time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Wilfredo (Yolanda) Diaz Jr. of Garnerville, N.Y., Marti (John) Domanski of Lehigh Acres, and granddaughter, Allana. She was predeceased by her husband, Wilfredo Diaz.

The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be sent to a foundation of your choice in memory of Angelina Diaz. A service will be held at T.J. McGowan Sons Funeral Home, Garnerville, N.Y.
