Standoff with police ends peacefully
A three-hour standoff at a Fort Myers home ended peacefully overnight when an 18-year-old man surrendered to police early Friday.
Officers say Andrew Sosa, who was wanted on charges of armed burglary and violation of probation in Cape Coral, refused to cooperate with them as they attempted to serve a warrant at a home in the 3600 block of Metro Parkway.
A SWAT team responded to the home, and after several hours of negotiation, Sosa reportedly gave up without incident.
