Missing man found safe in Naples

UPDATE: Enrique Ramirez is safe and was located with relatives in Naples, according to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office Sunday.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing adult. Investigators said that on Saturday, October 8, at 12:31 p.m., the Lee County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a missing adult who is reported to have dementia and who is on medication. He is identified as 80-year-old Enrique Ramirez.

Enrique was last seen at approximately 5 a.m. at 2220 Putter Lane, Lehigh Acres. He has only lived at this address for a short time and had previous addresses in Bonita Springs and Naples. He may be trying to return to one of those areas, authorities said.

Enrique is 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighing 185 pounds and has brown eyes. He is balding but has black graying hair. Enrique is missing the middle finger of his left hand and has a vertical line scar on his right upper arm. His clothing is unknown but he is possibly wearing a white or blue baseball cap, white shirt, tan pants and sneakers. He is bilingual but prefers to speak Spanish, authorities said.

Anyone who can provide information regarding the whereabouts Enrique Ramirez is asked to contact the Lee County Sheriff’s Office at 477-1000.
