Beginning Sunday night, October 16 through Friday, October 21 during the nighttime/overnight hours of 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., the intersection of SR 82 and Colonial/Lee Boulevard will be reduced to one through lane in each direction while crews rebuild and pave the intersection. Left turns will not be allowed.

Flaggers will periodically stop traffic in all directions to allow the paving operation to clear the intersection. Motorists should expect lengthy delays (10 to 15 minutes) and are advised to use alternate routes during this night-time work. Law enforcement will be onsite.

This work is part of the City of Fort Myers’ S.R. 82 Widening Project and is subject to change due to inclement weather or unforeseen conditions.
