Destiny Diaper Bank will hold “The Big Baby Shower” October 22 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Microtel Inn & Suites at 1320 Business Way in Lehigh Acres. Pregnant moms that are on WIC and have a due date by Christmas are invited as well as other moms who need diapers.

Hines said the Baby Shower is an opportunity to help low-income mothers that are in need of baby items, diapers, baby gear, safe beds for their babies to sleep in, clothing, educational stimulation baby toys, blankets, bottles, and other baby essentials. She said there will be games, gift bags, food, and fun.

“We are in need of donations of new or like new baby items especially cribs, play yards, strollers, baby gear. All donations can be dropped off at Microtel Inn & Suites. To make a financial donation go to www.destinydiaperbank.com.
