Fall Style Show: The Lehigh Acres Senior Center welcomed the community to a packed Encore Presentations Style Show recently on Plaza Drive. Glitz and glamour surrounded the models and guests in the sparkling ballroom. Walking the red carpet in men’s and women’s day wear, sports togs and evening clothes were volunteer models, standing left to right, Center Director Teresa Perkins, Lucy Gucofski, Ellen Kalacius, Josephine Scotton, Queen Isabelle Shockey, King Frank McDonald, Jo Palmer, Marie St. Pierre, Anne Simenton, Rose Mellett, Betty Ryder, Terry Hommen, Aura Wilson. Seated left to right, are Lenore Delcastillo, Marion Shorey, Marie Beirn and Pat Chevalier. Model Ted Urban, Mike Binkley and James Simenton escorted the models. Faux champagne and homemade cookies were served. Fall fashions may be seen in the Senior Center’s Golden Shell Boutique thrift shop, which is open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.
