The annual Lehigh Acres Veterans Day Ceremony this year is sponsored by VFW Post 4174. The ceremony will be held at Veterans Park on Homestead Road at 11 a.m. on the 11th of November 2011.

Lehigh Acres civic organizations will participate, including the Moose, American Legion, Knights of Columbus and the Eagles and possibly others.

“Everyone is invited to attend and support our veterans,” said Les Waide, commander of the VFW Post.

“After the ceremony we will be serving a free lunch at the VFW for veterans and their families.”
