December’s roster of activities at Riverdale Branch Library offers topics for all families, children and teens. The following activities are free to the public:

FAMILY

Family Storytime

10 a.m. Fridays, December 2, 9

This program is for the whole family and lasts about 30 minutes. Registration is required.

Hocus Pocus Holidays

4:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 14

Robbie the Ringmaster presents an enchanting, sparkling show that will make your holidays merry and magical! Celebrate the season with a special treat that includes laughter, mystery, and of course, Robbie’s well-loved puppet companions. Sponsored by the Friends of the Riverdale Branch Library.

“Break Time!”

11 a.m. 5 p.m. Wednesday, December 28 and Thursday, December 29

Put the brakes on during your holiday hustle and bustle. Take a break at the library and enjoy games, stories, and crafts. Check with us for times and activities during these two days.

CHILDREN & TEENS

Kids Read Down Fines

10 a.m. 3 p.m. Friday, December 9

10 a.m. 3 p.m. Saturday, December 10

Children and teens can earn a $2 coupon for every 15 minutes of reading during the allotted time in the designated area of the library. For ages 18 and younger. Coupons may be applied to cards issued to patrons age 18 and under only.
