Detectives seek public’s help in double homicide

Lee County sheriff’s detectives are releasing photos of the victims of a recent double homicide and the vehicle they drove in the hope someone from the public may know something about the crime.

Aner Joel Miralda Galeas and Dagoberto Ramos, both 26 years old, were shot and killed on November 12 behind a North Fort Myers business on Pondella Road near the intersection of Lansdale Road. Detectives believe the shooting occurred between 5:30 and 6 a.m. that morning.

The victims were driving a 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse immediately prior to the homicide and it was recovered from the scene. It is believed that the victims drove to other locations in the North Fort Myers area prior to the murder.
