Galen “Doc” Kendall

Galen Charles “Doc” Kendall, 56, of Westminster in Lehigh Acres died Sunday, November 27, 2011.

Born June 18, 1955, he was the son of Dr. H.E. and Violet M. (Moore) Kendall of Sullivan, Illinois, and Cape Coral. He was a Lee County resident for the last 28 years. Many may remember him as owner of Doc’s Video.

Kendall is survived by his sister, Polly Kendall and husband, Jim Roques; his niece, Sara Roques; his sister, Donna Heinz and husband, Ron Heinz; and his niece, Cheryl Heinz. He was preceded in death by his parents.

“Doc” had a delightful sense of humor and infectious laugh. He was a smart businessman and fiercely loyal friend. He was adored by family and thoroughly enjoyed by his many buddies and associates.

In respect of his wishes, there will be no services, and his resting place will be determined later. His family thanks all who shared affection for this unique man for their kindness and sympathy.
