Suspect sought who robbed two firms minutes apart

By Staff | Dec 18, 2011

Suspect shown in surveillance video.

Lee County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the Riverdale Pharmacy located at 14102 Palm Beach Boulevard Saturday afternoon at around 2:25 p.m. A store employee told them that a Hispanic male wearing a wig and dark sunglasses approached the register. The suspect then lifted his jacket to display a revolver and demanded money. The employee placed an undisclosed amount of money in a bag the suspect brought with him. The suspect then hopped into a 4-door vehicle that witnesses say was driven by a dark haired Hispanic female in her 20s.

Minutes later, the same suspect ran into the Domino’s Pizza located at 13008 Palm Beach Boulevard and robbed the business in the same manner, Sheriff’s investigators said.

Witnesses indicated the suspect left in a light brown 4-door vehicle, possibly a Honda or Toyota with chrome rims. The witnesses also said they saw a dark haired Hispanic female driving the getaway car.

No one was injured during either of the robberies.

Surveillance photos from the Riverdale Pharmacy show the suspect also wore a green jacket and appears to have facial hair, possibly a beard.
