Senior Nominees introduced: Lehigh Acres Senior Center 2012 Board Nominees were introduced at the Thursday, January 10, 1 p.m. Meet The Candidates forum on Plaza Drive. They are, left to right, Don Espiritu, Connie Del Re, Nancy Bartlett, Chet Olson, Paula Mycoff and Rick Thayer. Voting for four seats to be filled will take place Friday, January 13 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Voting for the new Senior King and Queen to follow 2011 King Frank McDonald and Queen Isabel Shockey will also take place simultaneously. Following elections, at 2 p.m. An open board meeting will announce the new 2012 Board Officers for the recreation center. Current 2012 membership from the office is required to vote. Membership for those more than 50 years of age is $15 yearly for singles, $25 for couples living at the same address.
