John Henriques

John Henriques, 95, of Lehigh Acres, formerly of Massachutes, died on Saturday, February 4, 2012. Born in Portugal, he had a lifetime filled with dancing, traveling, gardening and playing cards.

Henriques was the husband of Maria Palmeira Henriques for 69 years; father to Ida (Victor) Machado and Lucy (Jim) Arial; brother to Jose Fonseca of Portugal and the late Benta of Uruguay; grandfather to Paul, Lisa, Yvonne and Scott (Machado) and Candi, Jeff and Marc (Arial); and great grandfather to seven.

The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 8, 2012 in the Anderson-Patterson Funeral Home 2701 Lee Blvd Lehigh Acres, Florida 33971 (239) 368 – 7080. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday, February 9, 2012 at St. Raphael Catholic Church in Lehigh Acres. Interment will follow in Lee Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Hope Hospice.
