The Lee County Sheriff’s Office said today that at around 3:30 Wednesday the body of a woman was located in the area of 56th Street West and Ida Avenue in Lehigh Acres. It has tentatively been identified as Deanna Weadon, 27. An official identification is pending an examination by the medical examiner’s office. There is no evidence of foul play, investigators said.

Lee County deputies were asking for the public’s assistance in their search for a missing person, who was identified as Weadon of 2802 9th Street SW, Lehigh Acres. She had last been heard from on February 1 when she spoke to her boyfriend on the phone.
