Bryan S. Hettrick

Bryan Steven Hettrick, 24, of Lehigh Acres, died on Friday, March 16, 2012. He was born on April 8, 1987, in New Britain, Conn., to Carolyn Jones Gooden and Steven Hettrick.

He graduated from Dunbar High School in 2005. He was a goal keeper on the soccer team, went to Florida Gulf Coast University on an academic scholarship and was successfully employed as a server at TGI Fridays at Bell Tower Shops.

He was a loving son, brother and godfather to Peter “PJ” Gooden Jr. and treasured more than anything his life.

Bryan is survived by his mother, Carolyn (Peter Sr.) Gooden; father, Steven Hettrick; maternal grandmother, Rita Jones; brothers, PJ Gooden and Kendall Sawyer of Lehigh and Aiden Hettrick of Conn.; godfather/uncle, Kenny Jones of Conn.; uncles, Jeff Hettrick and Russ Lebel; aunts, Kristen Jones, Debbie Hoyt, Linda Hettrick and Sue Lebel; cousins, Mikayla, Denver and Avery Jones, Jason, Jeremy and Jessica Hoyt, Caitlyn Hettrick and Nicholette Lebel; and many extended family and friends around the world.

Visitation was held Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at the Anderson-Patterson Cremation & Funeral Services chapel and again Thursday, March 22, 2012, with funeral services. Interment followed at Lee Memorial Park.
