The Greater Lehigh Acres Chamber of Commerce announced today that effective Nov. 15, Gary Bright has resigned as president/CEO of the Lehigh Acres Chamber.

Bright has served as the Chamber’s President/CEO since November 2011.

In response to Bright’s announcement, Dodd stated, “To say that Gary Bright is going to be missed is an understatement. He has been a wonderful representative of the Chamber’s values.”

Immediate Past Chairman David Deetscreek had this to say about Bright’s announcement: “Gary worked very hard and always put the Chamber first. I wish him the best.”

Until further notice, Inke Baker will run the daily operations of the Chamber.

On a Board of Directors Retreat on Nov. 30, a possible replacement for the president/CEO position will be discussed.
