Lehigh man charged in robberies

At 2:28 a.m. Dec. 5, Lee County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a robbery at the CVS Pharmacy, at 12255 S. Cleveland Ave. in Fort Myers, according to officials.

Upon arrival, deputies met with store employees and witnesses.

It was determined that a man demanded money from the cash register while displaying a small caliber silver handgun. After stealing an undisclosed amount of money, the man fled the scene on foot.

No one was injured.

Marc Weeggins-Blair, 21, of 825 Alvin Ave., was later located and charged in connection to the incident, according to officials.

Weeggins-Blair was charged with the CVS Pharmacy robbery, as well as the Nov. 22 robbery at the Circle K, at 11225 S. Cleveland Ave.
