Travis and Kayce Smith are proud to announce the birth of their first son, Dawson Duncan Smith, on Jan. 22, 2013, at 5:48 a.m.

Dawson weighed 9 pounds, 5 ounces, and was 21.75 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Tom and Becky Duncan, of Cape Coral; paternal grandparents are Tammy Baisden, of Lehigh Acres, and Stephen Smith, of Atlanta, Ga.
