‘Messian in the Passover’ demostration planned
“Messian in the Passover,” a demonstration showing how Jesus fulfilled the ancient feast of Passover, will be held from 6-8 p.m. March 23 at First Community Congregational Church, at 200 E. Leeland Heights Blvd.
Conducted by Boris Goldin, a representative of the Chosen Ministries, the event is open to the public. A love offering will be received.
A dinner will be prepared that will include appetizers, chicken almondine, vegetables, Jewish potatoes, salad and dessert.

Christ United Methodist announces schedule
Christ United Methodist Church, at 1430 Homestead Road N., presents the following:
– March 24: Easter Cantata at 3 p.m. in the sanctuary by the chancel choir.
– March 28: Maundy Communion Service at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary. Experience communion by being one of the 12 disciples at the table.
– March 29: Good Friday Prayer and Meditation from noon to 3 p.m. in the sanctuary.
– March 31: Easter Sunday celebration at 9:30 a.m. There will be an Easter egg hunt in the garden and playground for children up to sixth grade. Bring a basket. Experience the resurrection during the worship service at 10:30 a.m. Children will celebrate Easter during Children’s Church, with a movie and activities. An Easter potluck brunch will be held in the fellowship hall following the service.
