Deetscreek joins Robert Bowers Accounting firm
David Deetscreek
Robert Bowers, owner of Robert Bowers Accounting Inc., has announced that David Deetscreek has made a career move and has left SDS Accounting & Tax Solutions in Lehigh Acres and has joined the Bowers accounting firm, also in Lehigh.
“I have known Bob for nearly 25 years. I have great respect for Bob and over the years have developed a relationship with him that will make this change exciting, fun, challenging, and rewarding,” Deetscreek said.
“It will be difficult leaving SDS Accounting and my partner, Michael Swords. I met Mike in 2007 and together we formed and operated a profitable company. A mutual trust and bond developed that I hold with high regard. Mike is a friend, and a good man. I am sure SDS will remain viable, and even improve under his leadership,” Deetscreek said.
He noted that this change will likely be his last. He said that with Bob Bowers, the opportunity for advancement in the accounting and tax fields, combined with the flexibility extended for family and friends, was just too good to let pass.
Deetscreek and Swords will maintain a healthy business relationship as common interests such as real estate and golf courses (Mirror lakes for Deetscreek and Majestic for Swords) remain.
Deetscreek currently is immediate past chairman of the Greater Lehigh Acres Chamber of commerce and one of Lehigh’s publically elected officials holding the office as chairman of the East county Water Control District. He is also business partner of the Mirror Lakes Golf Club.
