Robert Franklin Gaskins, 64, of Lehigh Acres, died Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013. He was born Dec. 26, 1948, in New Orleans, La., the son of Clara (Pine) and Richard F. Gaskins.

He was a veteran of the United States Army and a proud member of the American Legion Post of Lehigh Acres.

He is survived by his loving wife, Rose; stepchildren, Ray (Marsha) Walters of Lehigh Acres and Tami (Mark) Hus of Trinity, Fla.; stepgrandchildren, Zac (Sarah) Walters and Jacob Walters, both of Lehigh Acres; and stepgreat-grandchildren, Aiden and Cooper Walters, both of Lehigh Acres.
