Joan Tringa

Joan Tringa, 71, of Lehigh Acres, died Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2013. She was born June 14, 1942, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Joan and George Murray.

She married Richard Tringa on Feb. 22, 1964.

She was a nurse at Winthrop University Hospital for 30 years.

She is survived by her husband, Richard; children, Michael and Andrea; and granddaughters, Tabitha and Isabella.

A memorial service was held Friday, Jan. 3, 2014, at Zion Lutheran Church in Fort Myers.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Galisano Children’s Hospital of Lee Memorial.
