To the editor:

On behalf of the members of the Lioness Club of Lehigh Acres, I would like to thank all the citizens who contributed their hard earned money to our club this past weekend during our annual fund-raiser known as White Cane Day.

This money is especially helpful to young families with school aged children, but also is available to those who are older and desperately need to preserve eye health.

I would also like to thank all those Lions, some of whom spent more than a couple of hours this past weekend working for our club.
