Chamber to host its annual Celebrity Challenge Dinner

By Staff | Jun 18, 2014

The Greater Lehigh Acres Chamber of Commerce will hold its third Annual Celebrity Challenge Dinner on July 26 at The Hut restaurant in Buckingham. The event will start at 6 p.m.

Tickets are on sale at the chamber office or online at: www.LehighAcresChamber.org.

Inke Baker, the chamber’s CEO and executive director, said the cost per person is $50 and the dinner choices are prime rib or a chicken.

Deejay Judy is taking care of the entertainment part of the evening, including local celebrities getting challenged by the guest.

“Don’t miss out. This is a great way to spend your Saturday night and support your local chamber and community,” said event chairman Al DeLeon.

The celebrity challenge dinner will be full of fun, entertainment and community, Baker said.

Seating is limited to 150 and tickets are going fast, she said.

Want your own table? Then consider a table sponsorship as an individual or a company and sit with eight guests of your choosing.

“There will be great food, great music and great fun,” she said. “There will be 18 local celebrities such as Lee County commissioners, Lee County School Board members, East County Water Control District commissioner and candidates for various races to be decided in November.

“They have agreed to be our waiters and are ready to be challenged by the guests. Hurry and go on line for tickets or call our chamber office,” Baker said.

For more information or tickets, contact the Greater Lehigh Acres Chamber of Commerce at (239) 369-3322, or email info@LehighAcresChamber.org.
