Heart specialist moving office

Dr. William Richardson
One of Lehigh Acres’ most known and respected doctors is moving his medical practice due to a shortage of space at his present location.
Dr. William Richardson, a heart specialist, is moving from his offices on Beth Stacey Boulevard to 391 Lee Blvd., in to Suite 300.
He is one of only a few heart specialists who practice in Lehigh Acres and is associated with Lehigh Regional Medical Center.
Richardson is accredited in echocardiography as well as holds accreditation in nuclear stress tests in Lehigh. He is also becoming accredited in vascular studies this year.
A resident of Lehigh, Richardson and his wife, Nenefe Richardson, live on Noridge Drive.

“We’re trying to get the word out to all our patients and those who be planning to call on us,” his wife, Nenefe said.
“And we’re going to begin packing up everything this week on Friday with the help of our staff and professional packers and movers,” Nenefe, who is her husband’s office manager and runs his medical practice.
“The reason we are moving,” Dr. Richardson said,” is because we are running out of space and we need more for our administrative people and more room for our patients.”
He has been at the professional building on Beth Stacey Blvd. now for at least six years.
With Dr. Richardson is his physical assistant – his PA – Vandana Patel who went to work for the medical practice in 2009 and is also well-known among the many patients.
There are six administrative members of his staff and five clinical professionals.
Richardson, who is 60, said it would take three days easily to pack up all of the specialized equipment in addition to all the administrative staff’s work stations and thousands of medical records.
His wife said many of them were already computerized but it is the law to retain the paper records for 10 years, so they all must be removed and in an orderly manner.
They will not be see patients during those moving days, but Mrs. Richardson said the new offices would be open on July 1 and appointments for that date have been made.
Richardson probably has the largest cardio medical practice in Lehigh, according to his wife.
Those among the administrative staff include Michael Velasquez, Diana Rivera and Chelsea Bond. Cindy Bond and Sandra Najarro are in the billing department and in medical records, and Iris Semple is in charge of storage and computerized records.
The clinical staff includes Alied Machuca, Varynita Buez, Roxanne Paduani and Raquel Houser.
Most of the staff can speak both Spanish and English.
Front Desk member Michael Velasquez noted that the practice is made up of what he called an international multi-cultural practice.
Dr. Richardson calls his practice, Keys Cardiology, PA and he has served in Lehigh since May of 2003. Before that, he practiced under the same name in Marathon, Fla.
He holds several memberships in professional organizations and holds medical licenses not only in Florida, but in Michigan. He is often called on to offer lectures at speaking engagements.
“We’ll be ready to go on July 1. I know we have a lot to move, but I think we will be able to get it all done in time to see our patients scheduled that day at our new location,” said Mrs. Richardson.
