Gerardo Ruiz, 63, of Lehigh Acres, died Sunday, June 29, 2014.

A funeral service was held Monday, July 7, 2014, with the Rev. Carlos Trabal officiating. Interment was held Tuesday, July 8, 2014, at the Florida National Cemetery in Sarasota with military honors.
