Virginia M. Straka

Virginia M. Straka, 94, of Lehigh Acres, died Friday, July 4, 2014, after a long battle of illnesses. She was born Oct. 21, 1919, in Cranesville, Pennsylvania, to Forrest and Mary Bishop.

She had previously resided in Starke, Florida, and Clarion and Erie Co., Pennsylvania.

She gave her life to Christ in October 1999. She was member of the Madison Street Baptist Church in Starke.

She truly enjoyed reading her bible, crocheting and playing piano.

She is survived by her daughter, Carrie A. (John E.) Hunt of Lehigh Acres.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew W. Straka; and parents.

Burial will be held today, July 16, 2014, at Rimersburg Cemetery in Pennsylvania. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the Lehigh Church of Nazarene.
