LCSO: Bundle of dealers busted in Operation Bonita Blast
A two-month investigation culminated in the arrests of more than a dozen suspected drug dealers in Bonita Springs. Operation Bonita Blast was launched as the result of numerous citizen complaints.
The following were arrested:
– Chari Adolfo, 50, of 85 Seventh St., Bonita Springs, sale and possession of heroin and possession of heroin with intent to sell
– Elmer Avalos, 24, of 11069 New Moon Court, Bonita Springs, sale and possession of cocaine
– Derrick Cobb, 48, of 3530 Glenn Drive, Fort Myers, sale and possession of cocaine and possession of cocaine with intent to sell
– Juan Gonzalez, 35, of 11528 Sanders Ave., Apt. B, Bonita Springs, sale and possession of cocaine
– Vicki Gordon, 52, of 4680 St. Croix Lane, Apt. 522, Bonita Springs, sale and possession of opiates, sale and possession of marijuana and trafficking in opiates
– Barbara Martin, 42, of 10300 W. Terry St., Bonita Springs, sale and possession of opiates
– Gabriel Mata, 28, of 10151 Wagon Trail, Bonita Springs, sale and possession of cocaine
– Terry Prentice, 49, of 9690 Carolina St., Bonita Springs, sale and possession of opiates
– John Presnell, 24, of 11069 New Moon Court, Bonita Springs, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia
– Mario Sanche, 18, of 26881 East Silverado Drive, Bonita Springs, sale and possession of marijuana
– Austin Schrenkel, 18, of 12126 Via Cercina Drive, Bonita Springs, sale and possession of cocaine
– Steven Smith, 35, of 26168 Princess Lane, Bonita Springs, sale and possession of cocaine
– George Thompson, 28, of 4440 S.W. 26th St., Lehigh Acres, sale and possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to sell and possession of marijuana
– Angel Torres, 31, 26200 Morton Ave., Bonita Sprin, sale and possession of opiates
Five suspects were still at large at the time of the press release.
