Here’s a way to help Lehigh Community Services at 201 Plaza Drive in Suite 103. Rae Nicely, LCS’s executive director, and those associated with her are selling raffle tickets for a winner to spend one week at the Dover House Resort at Delray Beach.
It is a fundraiser for LCS to benefit the less fortunate in the community, Nicely said.
Tickets are now on sale through Oct. 10, 2014. They are $25 a ticket or five tickets for $100. The drawing will be on Oct. 21 at 6 p.m. and the winner does not need to be present, Nicely said.
Lehigh Community Services has served more than 37,000 residents in 2013 but the need continues to grow, Nicely said.
“Our food pantry clients double during the summer time when school is out and we need to fill the shelves again; the need is great. We provide limited financial assistance and those needs also continue to grow. Help up help the less fortunate,” Nicely said.
