Charles Nathan Taylor III

Charles Nathan Taylor III, 75, died Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2014. He was born May 3, 1939, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, to parents Charles and Ann Taylor.

He retired as a Bridgeport police officer.

He was married to Mary Rita Croteau Taylor for 56 wonderful years and was a resident of Lehigh Acres for the past 30 years.

He is survived by his wife; daughters, Karen Wheway of Lehigh Acres and Sandra Gonzalez of Lehigh Acres; sons, Michael (Donna) Taylor of Bridgeport, Connecticut, and Mark (Nancy) Taylor of Lehigh Acres; sister, Jackie Archibald; grandchildren, James Wheway III of Lehigh Acres, Michael Taylor Jr. of Bridgeport, Connecticut, Lynn Taylor of Bridgeport, Connecticut, Ashley Taylor of Naugatuck, Connecticut, Sara Taylor of Bridgeport, Connecticut, Kimberly Morris of Lehigh Acres, Zachary Taylor of Lehigh Acres, Brittany Taylor of Lehigh Acres and Cassandra Taylor of Lehigh Acres; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Patty Taylor and Barbara Tantimonico.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, Oct. 2, 2014, at 11 a.m. at St. Raphael Catholic Church.
